'Walking in a chic wonderland'.....

There's an important date in December for every fashionistas calendar, not the big one on the 25th, I'm talking about 13/12 also known as Christmas jumper day! 

Do you remember being a kid and getting that knitted jumper from your relatives that you wore all Christmas Day. Well Christmas jumpers have came back around and can be quite on trend and chic, they range from the fairaisle small print ones, to the flashy quirky reindeer ones. 

This blog post is dedicated to my mother who loves Christmas, from her sparkly santa earrings, to her quirky jumpers.

I say embrace the trend, grab yourself a jumper, a cup of hot chocolate from Starbucks and go walking through the frosty air and take in the smells and sights of Christmas in glasgow. 

Only the chic way of course ;)

Off Peak Chic

Chic by definition means 'elegantly and stylishly fashionable', now I'd love to believe that while lounging about in my jogging trousers and oversized tee looking after my little girl I epitomise that definition?! 

However we all have our days where we stay in and watch tv, do our housework and chill out. Now if like me does it come to the weekend and you splash out, dig out your best dress, accessorize it to the hilt and grab your biggest clutch, all for lunch with the girlies. Why should glam and chic stay indoors for the weekend?

Yummy Mummy

Hello my lovely little fashionistas xx

Its been a while since I blogged, but I'm back :), I did the inevitable and became a mummy, so now I am determined to incorporate the epitome of what it is to be yummy while being a mummy.

There are a lot of a maternity/plus size ranges out there that are wonderful when you have a very large bump, and can easily be continued on after we have our beautiful children.  If like me, when you were pregnant, for comfort maxi dresses were your best friend, this can continue on.  I found when I was growing my beautiful daughter, I was making extra room for her round the hip area, and I came across a great little find for under  maxi dresses and skirts, to give that extra little bit of comfort.............

F H G.............Fashion Holy Grail

The fashion holy grail is that one item in the fashion world that every girl has to own.  It always seems to elude her, even though she sees it in magazines 'get it here', or someone's wearing it in the coffee shop she happens to be sitting in.  Everyone's is different, it can be the perfect pair of jeans, that pull in the tummy and lift the bum.  It can be the scarf that goes with everything, or the handbag you've wanted for years but can never afford, or simply all of the above.

Here are a few of mine.........

Your FHG doesn't have to be completely out of your reach, the high street do amazing copies of designer items at a mere fraction of the cost, it will get you that little bit closer and do its job-make you feel good about yourself.  So work that old scarf of yours into a new twist and wear it with everything, rummage through your wardrobe and put together an outfit by layering, in other words make your own FHG that someone else wants. 

Although girls, don't stop looking for you FHG.........

After all, its elusive for a reason.......

New year.....new you??

Second chance....?

I hope that 2012 has been fantastic, and everything you wished for happened, if not its not a problem because as of 12 midnight 1/1/13 we get a another shot at it.

I decided to do a blog based on second chances and hope.  Hope is a very powerful word and something we all need sometimes.....

I'm just back from having a lovely spa day with my one of my best friends, and thought I would do a post dedicated to all the ladies who spa and my friend Michelle xx
